GOD wants YOU! "Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." (*Isaiah 1:18 - 1:20 NIV)
God not only wants you to stop for a minute and think about your life he wants to be a part of your thoughts! Isaiah would write later that God's thoughts are not our thoughts, that his thoughts are far beyond our ability to understand. Because of vast the difference between us God has made a provision for us to reason with him, to make him part of our thoughts. That provision is the Legacy of Jesus. It is through Jesus' Legacy that God can reason with us and be apart of our thoughts. Because Jesus was human it is possible for us to build a relationship with him, God made it possible for our hearts to become one with Jesus' heart.
In simple terms here is the Legacy of Jesus: Jesus lived as human as you are...Jesus died just as one day you will...Jesus lives because of the compassion of God...And because Jesus has been given power over life and death he waits to be your Savior.
And God says, "If you are willing and obedient you will live but if you resist and rebel you will surely die."
More to come...
May the Holy Spirit bless you with a repentant heart.
