Yes, I am the cat lady. But since Kayla is sharing our home with us and our cats, she's sort of an honorary cat. For her age she is a very lovely dog, and a very fine German Shepherd. The only "tell tale" of her age is a bit of grey on the muzzle. I got some good pictures of her today.

I only take pictures of live animals and no cats OR dogs are harmed in the process. Now if I could only get Kayla to understand that catfood is not good for dogs...

She had been sleeping and wasn't too happy with mommy for wanting a picture with eyes open.

It's amazing how they manage to take up as much room as possible, isn't it? For such little things.........

That's OK. When Kayla sleeps she splays out across the floor (fortunately she does not jump on furniture- though she did get scared in a thunderstorm last week and ended up in my lap- she is a bit large to be a lapdog, but oh, well), and she snores. You have to watch for her as she sleeps soundly and it's easy to trip over her. She will sleep usually in the bedroom or on the bathroom floor if it's hot.
