This may seem like an odd thread topic, but it's something I've been thinking about.Who are some people whose lives you think would make an interesting documentary subject and why?You can name anyone dead or alive. It can be someone famous or someone you know personally or both

Cher, of course. No really, let's see...Bob Dylan, or Josephus, if only to recount the events of 70 A.D.

My Oma's (Grandmother) life. She survived through WW2 basically on her own with 7 young children, and an 8th was born at the end of the war. A result of a rape by a solidier. She journey by horse and cart from Prechlau into what became West Germany with all those children. At one point she had to leave one behind one child because the child had run off to find food but the train was leaving.

Anyhow, I think it's very interesting.

Another one would be my father-in-law, who went to Africa in the 30's to populate the colonies. Stories of wild animals and the local peoples. Very interesting.

I realize that you were only joking, but I really do think that Cher's life would make an interesting documentary.I think most people don't realize how hard her life has actually been or how much she's overcome.I still don't agree with much of her behavior, but I think her life is fascinating.

Another person who I think would be an interesting doc subject is Jiddu Krishnamurti, while I disagree with his philosophy I believe the man had a fascinating life story.

I think Cher had a "Behind the Music" on VH1 not too long ago. It was interesting. She certainly had an unusal dynamic with Sonny, giving the euology(sp?) at his funeral.
I'm a history buff, so I like the documentaries on the History Channel. I want to see one over Sun Tsu, Alexander the Great, etc.
