Let's create some Hoaxes! They can involve Sasquatch, UFO, Aliens, Ghosts, etc. -- anything paranormal. Let's try to make them as realistic as possible (within our talent-scope)... and let's have fun

kewl concept!Until someone decides to copy them to some UFO website and they think they are real and convince somebody to believe UFO's and then! What then? Where will it end?
Like my momma used to say "If you youngin's keep on a' playing with that BB gun you'ins gonna put yer eyes out"
Momma always wuz the smart one in the family. We never did listen to her - you kin call me One-Eye Jack. So I guess I won't listen to me neither. That bein' said...
This is one I did a long time ago when the Pathfinder mission mysteriously lost part of the image field. There were mysterious blank areas in the picture so I filled them in...

Hey on a serious note: Be careful with those picture sites (like you linked to in the OP) - I was browsing one last night similar to that one, with all the stupid pop up ads and such?
Well I got infected by a virus from one of those sites without downloading anything. It's that pop up java stuff. While browsing a site (called davesdaily -stay away from it!) all of a sudden my AVG virus software goes off and says that some program called memwatch is trying to run and it is a backdoor trojan (probably one of those ad servers or junk mail redistribution things)
I stopped it from running, but before it even tried to run in memory, it copied itself to several places on my hard disk. And some other little tidbits too. I ran my virus checker and found it in 7 places. And then I ran spybot search and destroy and adaware and they found about a dozen other variants of spyware and backdoors that my virus checker missed. Spent about two hours cleaning up my computer.
So be careful.
here are some useful links:
http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php - free AVG antivirus.
http://www.lavasoft.de - free adaware spyware destroyer.
http://spybot.safer-networking.de/ - free spybot search and destroy.
Never hurts to check your computer. And ad-aware and spybot seem to catch what the other lets slip through.

Yeah I especially liked the gaussian noise to make it look grainier, and the fact everything is out of focus.
Just like real supernatural photos. They are never clear or distinct. Makes you wonder why no professional photographer never shoots a ghost or flying saucer.

This isn't a hoax, but since people won't believe it I might as well post it here.
At the height of the Soviet Empire top Soviet scientists conducted research on the space - time continuum. Development of technology to alter time and space was delayed due to the cold war, but after faking the collapse of the Soviet Union development continued.
Below is a photograph taken during a test of the Chronoshift technology.

I was just lying down at the riverside, contemplating the big questions of religion and philosophy. I was just about to reach a deep assurance that my beliefs are right, but then this terrifying ghost appeared in the sky and I fell into scepticism.
