Here is the web site of the Mercy Ships organization, which I heard had a ship off of Africa, doing operations for those who could not or would not have been able to have them done otherwise.

If anyone else knows of good mission groups they wish to mention, this would be a good place to put it.
For instance, I also know of MAF, Mission Aviation Fellowship, which is an organziation with small planes that fly in supplies, Doctors, missionaries, etc. in remote places where it would be difficult to get it otherwise

Hey Tuck, how was your time on the mercy ships?
I have read that they are involved in the tsunami help.

It was really, really awesome, learning! I got to see a whole lot of things... poverty like we can only imagine... but also the miracle of people coming to know Jesus. I went to some churches that didn't have electricity or anything, but the people in them were absolutely passionate for God - really encouraging. I couldn't believe how excited some people were just to get their very own bible - some people were too poor to afford one. I met one guy who had been involved in witchcraft and had been troubled by demons but was now a Christian - you should have seen how joyous he was to be free!
I hope your trip is as good as mine was.
