The point of the thread is to pick ten books that one would want to take with them if one is stranded on a desert island. Most of us picked books that we enjoyed. A fw of us got smug in the fact that we picked anthologies :nc:. But Ryokan hit on something great.
1. A good book on boat building
2. Idiots guide to Training Parrots
3. Something on spear fishing
4. a book on sailing
5. The Joy of Eating Bugs
6. Robinson Crusoe
7. A big dictionary with soft pages, (for my rest room)
8. a book on meditation, cause what else am I going to do
9. A book on carpentry
10. This months Playboy(hey, it gets lonely on deserted Islands)
