Hey guys, I get around to quite a few sites, so I am not just saying this cause it is my site, but I have never seen the amount of the fun features for everyone that I have seen here in a theology site. Case in point is the custom smilies - as some sites have been making the decision to go to subscription only and some charge for features that are free here to all members, can you please take a moment to consider becoming a financial supporter of TheologyWeb?
The bulk of our support (and no our monthly server fees are not covered each month or even regularly though we have for the first time had that happen several times primarily due to advertising but we honestly really do need to reach that goal) comes from our faithful $5/month contributors with surprise and welcome boosts from those that out of the blue send us a lump sum. We thank all of you that have done this but if you have not yet, can please consider making some contribution? $5 is very reasonable for the amount of features offered here, or even a one-time contibution of any amount is gratefully received.
I know some may get tired of these regular pitches by me, but it is the reality that we have bills, and can always use help. I hope that I do request in a gracious and nonpushy way.

I think you should offer loyal supporters even more extras!
Custom smilies are nice, but I am already at my 40 limit, I think you should offer some extras like 500 custom smilies with larger size limits (currently 100 x 100 pixels or 10K)
hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink. :-)

I passed 1000 posts and 1700 something spam points. I am up to 50 custom smilies allowed now.

Testimonial:
Theologyweb is the friendliest religion board I have ever been a member of. 90% of the people, whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Pagan, Agnostic, Atheist, or Jedi all are friendly toward one another. And the features are great, like the custom smilies, custom tags (like the one that moves the bunny back and forth above), pearls (a form of thankyou currency), and there is even an arcade room for playing games. Definitely worth $5 a month or more. I have been on for two months and am completely hooked.
