will we need to know special signs and tokens to get into heaven? Not unless GOD is a freemason.

Well Darryl, it's interesting that you bring up "signs." We learn from the Lord Jesus Christ that signs were not something that people should be demanding of God, as many involved in Mormonism do, as well as other denominations. What was Christ's response to those that would not believe unless they witnessed a sign?
M't:16:4: A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
Lu:11:29: And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
And how are we to believe God today?
Ro:10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 10:14: How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 10:15: And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 10:16: But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
For those seeking a sign to know whether or not God is real, or whether or not Jesus Christ was who He said He was, He has already given the only sign He is going to give. The Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross of Calvary, suffered (was imputed) the sins of you and I and the entire world, so that we can have complete forgiveness of our sins, past, present and future. He was buried in a tomb for three days as the prophet Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days. And Praise the Lord, He is Risen. He is alive today! And He will impute His righteousness to any and all who would simply trust in that gospel.
Today we believe God because we have faith in what His word says. For faith comes by hearing His word. His word tells us of what Christ accomplished at Calvary for us. I pray that my Mormon friends would come to trust soley in His precious shed blood as the sign that God said He would give. No secret handshakes. No special name. Nothing but faith in Christ, and His righteousness.
In His Stead,
Linda
