View Full Version : Should I change my screen name?

I'm getting kinda bored with "Eireann." I've used it for so long on so many boards, it feels like time for a change. Any good ideas for a new screen name for me? Only serious or absurdly comical suggestions need apply!
I'll probably make a poll with my favorite suggestions.
PS -- How do I go about doing that, anyway? Can I change it under my profile, or do I need adminstrative assistance? I'm sure Rubes would know!

Stratovarius sounds cool to me.
Or a thelogical play off of minn's post: "All Hail Sin-a-Minn".
(I know it's bad I just couldn't resist.)

Well, considering the fact that if I've been informed correctly, Eireann is a goddess in Celtic mythology, and you're a man (unless you're a woman who selected the male tag), I think it's about time for a change.
If you want to stick with the Gaelic theme, how about Fol the Diddle (diddle being slang for a waste of time, not the hijacked version)?

You know. . .there is something to be said for a simple screen name, it's hard to type a name like PsychobillyBoblobstermasher. . .I think some good choices would be:
Jack
Frank
Ed
Buck
Ralph
Joe
I think your change should simplify.

Well the name does sound female, you remember that I thought you were a woman when we first met.

How about:
"The Burninator"?
"Eireann the (dude) Barbarian"
"Uncle Jemaima"
"Blackleaf"

Some really good ones so far. I'll collect 'em in a day or so and poll my faves.
As for the Celtic goddess thing, you're right and wrong at the same time. Eireann is actually an adjective, but it does derive from Eire, which is both the Gaelic name for Ireland and a Celtic goddess.

That one, unfortunately, only works for guys named Jim. It's Gaelic for "James."
