What is your favorite/most usefull open source project?
Besides the GiMP, I really really like the MrPostman (http://mrbook.org/mrpostman/). It allows me to download, via POP3, all my Hotmail mail. Which is great, because I keep runing out of room!
I am just loving this thing. :yipee:

Any email client can download emails. So you are overjoyed at the 98 spam messages you just downloaded? :hrm:

Outlook Express comes with doze and does it.
It used to, but they stopped doing it for free. :frown:

In fact, OE doesn't even tell you they stopped.
You have to look deep into M$' site before you can find that they've turned it into a paid service.

I like YahooPOPs! (http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/) for downloading Yahoo! email. I was bummed when Yahoo! went to subscription based POP access email but then I found this and use it all the time.

My favorite browser has become Mozilla Firebird (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/). I think it is a richly designed browser and I have almost stopped using IE because of this one.

OE can download Hotmail/MSN email with some proprietary connection. The POP access is no longer free but you can still use OE to download and send email through Hotmail/MSN. I do it all the time.
