Justified?

War is economic.
Even if it is out and out raiding, robbing, and raping,... it is still economics.

Policing the "market place" in the interest of civilized trading can lead to war. The explanding spheres of economic markets, demanding and insisting on cooperation in exchanges, particularly for raw material is backed by troops if need be.
None of the 7 industriaizedl powers today could permit oil monopolies to cut off supplies for ideological reasons (ie, Religious reasons like Islamic Fundamentalism).

What I am saying is that it is an oxymoron question to adk if war is justified.

War is a tool, merely a tool of the economy. The question is whether the gold amassed on the plains of Dura have us dancing to same old tune.
