Violet Burning

I was just curious if anyone else has heard of Violet Burning? I had a tape of theirs from 9 years ago. It was when Contemporary Christian music was just starting to catch on. Anyways I listened to that tape until it wouldn't play anymore. I had to go and order another one. Well, The group has just disappeared or something. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to them.

I have Stranger in this Place, Faith Devotions of a Satielliate Heart, and Demonstrates Plastic and Elastic.

I've been wanting to get my hands on a copy of Stength Album but the only way I can do so is to drop between $40-$200 for it on various websites being that its Out of Print.

They have a new Album coming out Tommorow and I plan to get my hands on it as soon as possible. I like them very much and I wish I had known about them back when I was in middle school and could get their albums cheaper.

wow!!!! Someone else who has great taste, or as old as me anyway. I can't remember the name of the tape I had. I just remember it had a woman singing back up. I got another one from them a few years later and she wasn't singing on it. I think she really made it awesome. I loved everyone of the songs on it. A few years ago my husband down loaded a few songs off the tape I had. Would you like me to send them to you?

Ok, my husband just informed me he got the songs from kazaa when my 3 yr old broke my tape. When I went there to check it out to see what songs were there, I saw that the songs I knew were from the Strength album. So, you say it costs $200 to get that album now? Bummer. Does Leslie ever sing for them anymore? The second Tape I got from them was a lot more hard rock then the Strength album. It sure is nice meeting other people who know about them. Thank you guys.

I have had several originals of "Stregnth" and "Chosen", but since buying and selling used rare music is what I do for a living, it's hard to hang on to them.

Leslie Sang on "I am a Stranger in this Place", which is a re-do of a bunch of songs from previous albums, and on "Faith Devotions of a Sattialeite Heart"

The Cheapest I've seen Strength for was a used copy over at blastbeats.com (www.blastbeats.com). I think they're selling reprints from their site though, but I of course would prefer the real thing.

well no new album. Bummer. There's some kind of dealy becuase the Christian music industry likes to jerk around its fans like that.

I went to a show at which they played last fall. I cant remember who else performed but I remember it was at Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego).
