If you had been listening the last couple of days you would have heard the President of Jamaica publically asking for prayer. He said yesterday - "Only God can help us now." Last night at 11 pm the weather channel had Ivan's eye coming ashore just west of Kingston and cutting straight through the island. About an hour or two before landfall Ivan "wobbled" and set a new course due west, nothwest. The eye did not come ashore nor cut through the island. Sparing them the brunt of the storm.

God be praised!

Yes, praise God---whether our little minds can figure out all the logistics or not....

God be praised!I'm not sure which "God" the pres of Jamaica was praying to, but even if it wasn't YHWH, no doubt there are some true Christians living there who prayed hard. So God decided to move the storm over a little. I think so.

You know my wife and I were almost going to Jamaica for the first time for cheaper rates this time of year. We ended up not going for some reason. Hmmmm.
