Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!)

I seriously doubt that's true. I'm sure there are some online qurans you can look it up on.

I guess the news is that uncheck stuff goes around the net... unchecked.

I intend to look it up in the bookstore next visit. But, I wonder, if Christin blogs pass aroung lies, wht does that say about us? So, when I check it, I'll have to answer that question too, if the Koran doesn't say this.

I checked an online version of the Koran. I found nothing. But I should also say that I am totally unfamiliar with the text--so...

90% of the internet is lies, crackpots and conspiracies. It's not a Christian thing, the internet is just a place where wierd and untrue stories pass around fast.

perhaps the Muslim-haters made it up. It's sad that some people have made this into a "holy war"--seeking to divide groups based on religion. IT's the easy way out. Civilization has been doing this since the beginning.
