I've recently stopped using Winamp 3 because I realized that is was nothing but bloatware. Instead, I switched back to Winamp 2 because it seems more stable and less bloated than the other. So if you want to check it out, you can download it from the link below.

I hated v3 after just 15 minutes of use.
Of course, Winamp 2 won't run as Administrator on my 2k machine(!?) and I can't run large apps like Photoshop with it, or the audio is screwed. But I still prefer 2. :thumb: (never used v3 long enough to see if they fixed those bugs )

I'm another Winamp 3 hater. I was so annoyd about it I switched to Windows Media player. The playlist system in Media Player 9 is actually quite good, not to mention the mini-player taskbar minimisation feature.
Still, I miss good old Winamp 2. I might download that

They actually have a whole page dedicated to people who still want Winamp 2 cause version 3 sucks. The new playlist setup bugs the heck out of me. I usually update about 100-200 ID3 tags when I finally get to organizing and the new setup makes that process even longer and more painful.

I too tried Winamp v 3 and was deeply dissapointed.
After a few searches and questions I was led to Sonique. It's soooo much better than WMP or Winamp. :teeth: :teeth:
here's the link if anyone wants to give it a try:
