What's THE best? I'm currently using IE but from what everyone keeps saying I'm beginning to think I'm missing out or something..

It's better, IMO, but you'll miss out on some stuff.

Why Mozilla Firebird? (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/why/)

Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org) has the ability to block pop up ads and lots of other annoying "features."

LOL...just kidding. I like Firebird because it seems faster when surfing, thanks to the new Gecko browser engine. It also has built in "tabbed browsing" so that you can open multiple web sites in the same browser window (use have to open multiple sessions of IE to get the same effect). There is a built in pop-up window killer to kill annoying advertising windows. Also, there are "extensions", liitle add-ons, that you can add to Firebird to add aditional features. Finally, you can customize the look and feel of the browser to your heart's content using "user-specific" css files. For example, I have a css file, called usercontent.css, that removes 95%-99% of all advertising banners and flash ads that websites try embedding in the page itself. With a few lines added to this usercontent.css file, I can block these ads from ever reaching my browser window.

Opening multiple windows IS a pet peeve of mine. And I have to do this quite a bit. I think I'll try it out. :brow: The pop up blocker is a nice addition well.

Both Salus' and my browser suggestions are based on Mozzilla(with a few modifications), so if you want to try it, you only need to download one of the two.

I used Mozilla (Camino) on my ibook and it was great, had the tabs and pop-up-blocker and everything, only thing it gave me any trouble with was some java issues, which I kept IE:mac around for when I needed it.
