I used to think this was just a pointless question that scholastic theologicans had in the middle ages. However, I have grown to see that it is really asking what is the nature of reality. Do angels have corporeal ontology or do they have only a spiritual ontology. So let me open this up. BTW philosophy is generally not my thing so I am interested in basically lurking and seeing how y'all will treat it. I might ask clarifiaction form time to time, but probably will not make many substantive additions.

Angels are big enough so that if Satan doesn't like he can sit on a tack, "Ouch!" :hrm:

I'd say that angels are non-corporeal. They may have the ability to manifest themselves in material ways, though.

The question could also be formulated this way:

If there was a video camera recording everything in the room where a person was appeared by angel, would we see anything unusual when waching that tape later?

None. Dancing is from the devil, therefore only demons can dance.

I agree dancing is truly evil. And anyone who has seen me dance (or attempt to do so) would know that that makes me one righteous dude.:yipee:

Grey, I still see that question as a pointless one, along the lines of "Can God create a Rock so heavy he couldn't lift if?" They just seem like bad questions to me that miss the deeper questions.

Although, personally I think you should make sure you have the right question. :ri:
