You might want to upset the rules of the forum.

Hrm... "You've disparaged my belief system by disagreeing with it. That makes you a...bigot."
Yep, you're right. That does remind me of someone. (You're thinking of Snooty too, right?) :teeth:

Yep, you're right. That does remind me of someone. (You're thinking of Snooty too, right?) I was thinking of misotheists like Winace and QED, who are the ones who have defended a flat Earth on TWeb.

Really? Wow. Where?
Anyway, I was commenting more on the "disagreement = bigotry" angle that Snooty defends, particularly in regards to homosexuality.

big·ot
a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices
ob·sti·nate
1 : perversely adhering to an opinion, purpose, or course in spite of reason, arguments, or persuasion
2 : not easily subdued, remedied, or removed <obstinate fever>
in·tol·er·ant
1 : unable or unwilling to endure
2 a : unwilling to grant equal freedom of expression especially in religious matters b : unwilling to grant or share social, political, or professional rights
So a bigot can be perversely, in spite of reason, unwilling to grant social rights, due to prejudice.
I think that's the meaning most people use.
I suppose "bigot" could mean just very stubborn.
I love the title of this thread.

I only whored out like that to cleverly point out how the sheer number of ludicrous ad hoc rationalizations creationism requires can defend the flat earth from falsification as well.
