I know exactly what you mean. I think it's awful that people would claim that God would do such things. Why, I think it's just as awful as....as....the actions of the supposed 'goodguys' in the Star Wars movies! I mean, think about it! First Obi Wan uses deceptive mind control tricks on the Stormtroopers to illegally smuggle droids off the planet Tattoine. And when the Stormtroopers try to stop their blatant breaking of the law, the "goodguys" shoot them! Then they kill a bunch of stormtroopers while saving Princess Leia! All those lives in exchange for one??? Heartless, I tell you! And....oh, this just infuriates me...at the end of the first movie, they BLOW UP THE DEATHSTAR! How many thousands of people were killed when they did that??? My God, the callousness of that act! And that's in the first movie alone! In the third movie, they blow up ANOTHER ONE!
And don't get me started on "Lord of the Rings". Enslaving poor Golem! Killing all of those orcs! Oh, the humanity!
