Under Rutherford's leadership, the Watchtower Society taught that the princes of the Old Testament would be resurrected in 1925. Of course, this never happened.

But, before the prophecy proved false, Rutherford purchased a mansion in California and called it Beth Sarim. The title claimed it was being held by the Watchtower for use of the princes.

Rutherford did eventually move into the mansion - which remains a monument to false prophecy. It was quietly sold by the Society - obviously an embarassment.

Any Watchtower people care to refute this?
