Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

    A Glory Seed Devotional
Come to the Throne of Grace…

‘So whenever we are in need, we should come bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved kindness, and we will find help.” (Hebrews 4:16 CEV)

Rather than “the throne of our merciful God” the King James Version reads, “the throne of Grace” can you in your wildest imagination picture anything more beautiful than standing before God receiving an invitation to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

    The Journey of Grace

Standing before massive doors leading to the Celestial Courtroom your pulse begins to race as you hear your case called. The doors swing open and you are motioned in. “Guilty for crimes against the Spirit,” the Judges voice rings out as the gavel hits the Bench. A cold chill moves from your head to your toes as the final verdict slices into your heart. “The accused is sentenced to eternal darkness, Bailiff remove the accused from the courtroom and execute the sentence. Next case,” the Judge calls out with tears in his eyes.

Instantly you find yourself facing what appears to be a dark cave and a cold, clammy wind sends chills up your spine and a sinister voice echoes across the room, “Judgment has gone in my favor you are mine forever more.” Suddenly you feel yourself being pulled into the dark abyss. Then just before disappearing into the darkness, “HOLD IT,” a soft, powerful voice calls out and the darkness begins to disappear, “NO, THIS ONE IS MINE,” the evil voice cries out. Suddenly a soft, peaceful bright light begins to appear instantly, “NOOOOOOO,” the evil voice trails off the white light increases in intensity and power.

As the light grows brighter you begin to hear the sounds of a choir singing, “Praise the King of Heaven, and praise the Lamb of God!” Then in a glorious explosion of light you feel new blood flowing through your veins, and new breath filling your lungs instantly your transported back to the Celestial Courtroom. Silence now fills the room as you fall to your knees, “Sentence commuted by reason of Grace, enter the Kingdom of Eternity!”

Isn’t the invitation to eternal life what you long to hear? But Hebrews 4:16 is about more than just Grace given for eternal life, it’s Grace for everyday life as well! It’s about going to God when the going gets to tough. It’s about going to God even before we reach our breaking point. It’s about God’s kindness, support, and love. It’s about God reassuring us that in spite of what others think of us and do to us we are God’s most precious miracle. It’s about living in the Peace of Jesus.

    Anticipate! Experience! Believe! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary
