Since becoming an English Major, I find myself wandering into bookstores and wandering out with a heavier load. That is not entirely accurate, but pretty close. I had a $25 gift certificate, so I went out and spent four times that much. I am happy with what I bought:

1. Complete Poems and Plays of T.S. Eliot (1909-1950)
2. Norton Critical edition of Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte
3. Complete Works of John Milton
4. The Art of Rhetoric
5. Divine Comedy: Paradise

It is a good thing that I am not an addiction studies major.

Those are some good purchases. It's been a while since I've browsed a good used bookstore. Now that I'm going in to my seventh year of schooling, I've started to wean myself off of book purchases. I've even started selling old ones on Amazon.com, and going to the library instead of the bookstore.

I don't know about you, but moving large boxes of books may be good exercise, but it's a serious pain!
