Ah, it is with my church, which denomination I wish to keep private, for some reason, for now. But the guy leading it used to be a missionary there for 13 years. The first church they were in, they had a little boy in the street selling peanuts, and they asked him to come to church. This little boy's father was alcoholic, and he did become a Christian before he died of liver disease, but this little boy told them, that the many times this minister and his family had his family over for dinner, it kept them from starvation. Now, that little boy is grown up, and a leader in one of the seminaries in Brazil! Cool, eh?

I guess we won't be going on this trip, but we plan to save money to go on another one. We were unable to raise enough money, and I've had some health problems where I believed it best also, not to go, so as not to hold them up. Please pray for this group, as they still need to raise money, and they will not be doing physical construction as the OK for that hadn't gone through yet. I will continue to send out letters amongst my church members to try and raise money. I am not feeling bad about not going, though, rather at peace. I DO want to save money sensibly, over a year or so, so that it will be possible to go on a mission trip without causing hardship through raising money.
