just passing through

Can the virus that causes HIV pass through the latex condom? Can any STD's pass through a condom? I'm not talking about a torn or defective condom but a perfectly fine one. I thought I heard somewhere that the virus could indeed 'pass through', but before I offer any words of wisdom to my very young, very active friend, I though I'd ask here.

They can all pass through that big opening at the top :wink: so you gotta keep it plugged. Other than that, the latex, or whatever (but not natural skin) will prevent transmission.
