I have a question for muslims. Have they studied the book of revelation in the Bible? I and a lot of other christians see this as the fulfillment of the bible as Jesus stated in Luke 21 that ALL THINGS would be FULFILLED upon the destruction of Jerusalem. Not some or most, but ALL. This would include everything written in the OT.
I would join Islam myself if they believed that Jesus is the glory/Son of God Himself and the name to call upon, as He was the Heir that was to come from Abraham in the OT.
Luke 21:21 "Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 "For these are the days of vengeance, that ALL things which are WRITTEN may be fulfilled.
Most of the OT prophecies are against the rulers/priests of the house of Judah in the OT as is Jesus's prophecies against them (matt 23). I would love to study that book with other muslims using just the Bible as I and a lot of others in Christ believe that book is showing the vengeance and wrath against the jews in the first century(Israel is just another country to me and the only reason they are called "jews" today is they practice "judaism" as do the "catholics" in some ways).
The jews are not God's chosen today, as they have lost their heritage when they failed to see the Heir of Abraham as Jesus Christ. Malachi shows they are under a curse to this day.
Malachi 2:1 "And now, O priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If you will not hear, And if you will not take to heart, To give glory to My name," Says the LORD of hosts, "I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take to heart. [i]3 "Behold, I will rebuke your descendants And spread DUNG on your faces, The DUNG of your solemn feasts; And [one] will take you away with it.
Jeremiah 17:1 "The sin of Judah ("jews") [is] written with a pen of iron; With the point of a diamond [it is] engraved On the tablet of their heart, And on the horns of your altars, 2 While their children remember Their altars and their wooden images By the green trees on the high hills. [i]3 O My mountain in the field, I will give as plunder your wealth, all your treasures, [And] your high places of sin within all your borders. 4 And you, even yourself, Shall let go of your heritage which I gave you; And I will cause you to serve your enemies In the land which you do not know; For you have kindled a fire in My anger [which] shall burn forever."
Revelation 11:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 "But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot [for] forty-two months.
Almost all scholars agree this is Christ being taken up. If so, this would also fulfill half of Daniel's 70th week with 42 months left in revelation.
reve 12:5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
Are the jews still waiting on this prophecy? This was written while the 2nd temple was still standing!!!!
