Heathen Dawn mentioned something called "omnimax." And that she didn't believe in it. Which is all fine and good. Except I'm not very smart: what is omnimax?

Hi, Spiritmech,

"Omnimax" is short-hand for the Christian doctrine that God is "omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent," or whichever Omni- your church teaches.

And Heathen Dawn is a he.

Anselm of Canterbury defined God as “the being greater than which nothing can be conceived.” (Ontological Argument). Omnimax attributes follow from that definition (being everywhere, knowing all things and capable of all things, and also wishing well to all creatures).

Ah. So it's like. "Omni! To the max!" or something. Thanks, guys. Pardon my mistake with regard to Dawn's gender. I would have noticed that if I had just cared to view the blue penguin signifying the fact next to his name. My apologies.

Omnimax is also a 270 degree theater experience that they have here in Cincinnati. And I do believe in it. Its pretty spiffy.
