A Beautiful Truth

Hi, I'm not new to Tweb but I've been avatar-less ever since the resizing option for pictures on Tweb has been lost by my computer. I can't figure out how to resize and upload a picture from my computer so I've been boring avatar-less ever since. But no longer, I'm turning a new leaf, no more Miss wall flower for me.
So, if anyone could help, I'd GREATLY appreciate it.

well, what I do, though I'm sure there's a simpler way, is edit my picture on my computer with the scaling feature. I keep shrinking it and saving it until it's small enough for Tweb to accept.

Scaling feature? Beyond me. I speak a different language. (I'm dense when it comes to computer stuff.)

Tfbandie,
Where does the scaling function reside?

When I edit my pictures, it opens up microsoft paint i think. and under image, stretch/skew, yu can scale, horizontal and/or vertical. So i type in 50 in each and the picture becomes 50% original size

Y'know, maybe my avatar is dorky. (Not your fault, by any means)
Maybe I would rather have an avatar from a favorite T.V. show, from a character I like.

I think it's a great avatar!
I don't know, the background is well, so "70's Laugh-in" ish, or so my hubby says. I may need to ditch it...

I am just too boring for my avatar.
I asked luv if she would put a rainbow background to match the birds. She did, and did it well, but...as I said, I am too boring for that avatar.
Luv, do you think you could give me the avatar without the fancy rainbow background? I have no idea how much trouble I am asking you to go through for me, I have no idea what it takes to do what you do.
Thanks for anymore help...
