View Full Version : Featherless Chicken Image Thread

I don't know if this is technically a "game" that belongs in the game room or not, but I am fascinated by the featherless chickens that were produced by those Israeli scientists. They just seem wrong on so many levels.
So I'm making them the target of an image editing super-fun happy thread.
I invite you all to post images of featherless chickens in various scenes.
Here is a good source image for the tasty crimes against nature.

The TV Chicken is a scene from "The Ring" :-)
Very simple effect. All you have to do is stretch the chicken in order to get it at the right angle on the screen, and then add a mask around the entire screen... then just add noise, and voila. A Chicken that looks like it's in the TV :-)

I found another source image, and i put it against a black background to see if it would get rid of those rough white edges. You can normally get rid of them pretty good by adding a slight blur (or using a smudge brush), if your application has those tools. If not, I reccomend getting the Gimp which is a free image utility and I believe has these features.. I'll have to ask Cirisme for the exact URL

Not really too good, but I'm relatively new to compositing outside of scenes I render strictly for the purpose of compositing (i.e., when a full scene would take too much memory to render so I render parts and composite in Gimp)
