You know, how to organize the junk your church accumulates so that you can store it, use it, discard it, donate it or sell it. Making order from chaos - and going from poor stewardship to good stewardship of the church's resources.
I have helped three churches thus far (in mid project right now on the third and the largest) and frankly, the idea of doing an ebook on it only just occurred to me. I've yet to see a church that didn't have so issues with inventory - often very big issues. Seriously, how many bottles of glue do you really need? Great you kept the old VBS material and you can reuse it since all the kids that did it originally are in college - but do you even know where half of it is? Why, exactly, is the Christmas tree still up in the closet? Not stored in the closet - stuffed in it still fully decorated with predictable results - and where is the vacuum to deal with the broken glass under it? Those perennial 'we bought a ___ but no one knows where it is' and 'Hey, I found the ______ - pity we already bought a new one' issues every church faces.
So, if such a book existed, how likely would you be to buy one?
And folks, be nice - I'm considering writing it so I'd appreciate good feed back on the poll. Please contain the usual wackiness to the thread.
Thanks!
