The cultic views of X9 are kin to the Cult of Mary, within the RCC. Its a shame anyone takes any of it seriously. The neccessary steps require such convultions and manipulations .
The recent discussions have revolved around the imaginary 'differences' in the Gospel Pete and Paul taught. Along those lines , and nodding to X9 occasional relience on Scofield, I'll put up something obvious and see if theres is any reasonalbe response.
(KJV)
Acts 1:1-8
1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth
(KJV)
In X9 speak, Jesus is talking about something (the Kingdom) that will not exist for thousands of years. And of course Luke is a moron. Everybody knows Jesus would never have ordered the Gospel be preached to 'the uttermost part of the earth' ... out there among them english... Before Paul was converted. But then the god of X9 ism is not very thoughtful and easily confused.
And Luke is so dumb he doesnt even understand that if Paul was preaching a wholy new and different Gospel it could not be the same as Pete taught much less Jesus. So its funny when he claims:
Acts 28:30-31
30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
(KJV)
Sorry Luke ol pal you failed the X9 entrance exam.
