A place set aside for us, where we cant be interrupted by trivial and irrelevent points when we say something. I assume there exists an area where we unbelievers cannot post.
I am wondering a bit about this Clairvoyant powers that some theists seem to have acquired in the course of life. It is somewhat disturbing to be told, by a complete stranger, what your thoughts and motivations are. The fact that they are invariably incorrect seems to faze them not at all.
Or is this something that only happens to me?

Certainly not. I have a theist friend (a Christian Wicca?!) that knows all that goes on in everybody's head better than the person himself. She doesn't even let you speak. She interrupts you, raising her voice, and tells what your problem is and what you should do to solve it. And if you manage to tell her that she is wrong, after a lot of interruptions, she says that it's denial. She also has prophetic dreams that always come true and knows everything about your personality the instant you tell her when you were born. Of course I'm skeptical because I'm a Capricorn. She already expected it.
It's extremely irritant.

I dunno. I figure I give it back to them when I alledge religion exists as a coping mechanism for human ignorance and lack of control.

I know someone who told me, in all seriousness, that a friend of hers could 'see auras'. My reply was, 'can she see auras, or does she say that she can see auras?'
My friend looked at me as if I was mad.

Dude, you're interfering with the aura-enhancing vibes.

A Christian Wiccan? there is an image to conjure with(pun intended)
No its the " you are an atheist because you wish to do xyz and not feel guilty about it" or " You listen to Satan and he tells you that you dont believe" Those are 2 fairly common things I get told.
When I point out that its the lack of evidence for any God that is the cause of my unbelief they just reiterate the above. When I say things like I dont do xyz at all, then the allegations of listening to satan come out.
Oh well I am glad its not just my experience.

A sort of malign Meme you mean? Or a benign one, that has outlived its purpose. Perhaps a still valid meme that is a necessary part of human cultures.
I could probably come up with some good args for all 3.
However I still for the life of me cannot work out how they think they know. I am carefull to check things out before I post a response to a person by reading what they have written prior and to get a feel for what kind of response I am going to get. I rarely just plow into things assuming I know what their actual beliefs are.

Oh I can see auras too! No really! Just before the onset of a particularly nasty Migraine colours become much brighter and people can see lights around people and things. Of course the downside of this is you are doped down for a day or so in a quiet dark room until the headache clears up.
Does your friends friend get really bad headaches?
