as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
If the Bible is correct in stating we have been given all things pertaining to life and godliness, why do we need the Bible?

To get the knowledge of Him who has called us
Wouldn't that knowledge fall under the auspices of the "all things" referred to by Peter?

Take note of the word 'through', so those things must surely follow the knowledge of Him

I thought maybe this was the case, but Peter didn't have the book of Revelation when he wrote this.

Well, the "Bible" as we know it was only part of it. Most likely it is referring both to the OT scriptures as well as the traditions (although brand new traditions) of the early Christians.

Or maybe they didn't need Revelation when Peter wrote! And we do need it...
