Bush. Because Kerry didn't have a game-plan beyond "Defeat Bush" and that plan wasn't working, and because everything bad that happened to Kerry was "someone else's fault."
My preference in politics is to go with the candidate who most closely mirrors my ideals, politically and morally. Of course, as everyone knows the concept of an "ethical politician" can be a rare bird indeed ... so I normally end up voting for the lesser evil and holding my nose.
However, I also have to consider pragmatics. I support the war in Iraq--indeed, Sadaam Hussein should have been taken out in the 1980s when we were still buddy-buddy with him. Even for those who do not support the war, it should be fairly obvious that since we broke the country, we have a responsibility to fix it ... Kerry wanted to withdraw the troups quickly, which would have left them on their own.

... probably going to get some rocks thrown at me over that one  ....

Shhh! Don't tell anyone! Dear Gods, can you even imagine what that would do to our reputations as Pagans! To AGREE on something? :egad:

Not really. I'm not currently in a coven, but my wife (non-Wiccan Pagan and Witch) and I keep pretty quiet about our political beliefs ... mainly because I'm back in college, and being politically conservative is "soooo EEE-EEE-EVIL!" :ahem:
Except for the college crowd, most of the Wiccans I know could at least see the logic, even if they disagreed. I only had one "Anyone But Bush!" fanatic to deal with among the Wiccans I know, but he's young, and he's a radical, so I suppose I shouldn't be too suprised.

I tried talking about politcs with a few witch groups and had my Tootsie roll handed to me on several occassions. What really won me over to voting for bush was the saturday night live skit where "Kerry" was trying to defend His flip Lopping, by saying that He wasnt flip-plopping he was pandering. that sinched it for me. My wife on the other hand nearly fainted when I told her I voted for bush.
