I would like to redirect the discussion here for the theological importance of the subordination of the Son ot the Father as was brought up in my Proverbs 8 thread. (http://theologyweb.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=7005#post7005).

Thanks,
GP

I see the feminine Wisdom likened to Jesus comparing Himself to a 'hen' who gather's *her* chicks under *her* wings. May as well note the reference to the Church as the 'Bride' of Christ.

I've seen in Heinz's "rebuttal' of JP's 'Widsom' article his reliance on the LXX in order to side-step 'qanah' in the Heb. Like Phantaz said, no difference whether the Heb. or LXX is used.

Of course one's gotta love the reference to Jesus recieving 'latreuo' [sacred service] in Dan7:14 [LXX]. They [ the JWs] don't want to hold a double-standard, now do they? ;)

Dear AV:

[Gray Pilgrim please excuse the diversion one sec] you just GOTTA post some of that latreuo stuff here. I will probably repost here that Alpha and Omega piece I did contra Evangelion which BTW if you notice he never did supply his coherent rebuttal to. He did do some piecemeal stuff (and thus I will make some minor revisions in response) but not the enchilada.
