hey, that's a neat effect! It's animated noise. what program did you use?

I used micrografx picture publisher to make two identicle images with different noise patterns (which is easy, because basically every noise pattern is different).. there's an option to "add noise".

Then I used an animated GIF program called UnFreez to stick 'em together, and voila: creepy grainy video effect :teeth:

I posted these in the "scariest movie" thread for a little comic relief. yxboom suggested I post them here for posterity! He also noted that I'm "in need of affirmation," so any praise and glory you wish to heap upon me for my manipulation genius will be most humbly accepted!!! :wink:

This series is entitled "Samara Takes a Holiday." We began our holiday with a stop at the breathtaking Grand Canyon:

Of course, no vacation is complete without Mickey! Epcot was next. Samara leaned over and whispered to me in the 3-D theatre that she had "been there, done that!" Brat.

Then, it was off to Europe on a whirlwind tour of famous locations. I'm only including the highlight here. Samara insisted on having her picture taken every five seconds! She's really a high-maintenance diva (with that "everyone will suffer" stuff - honestly, it gets old). Here's the Leaning Tower of Pisa:

Okay enough Europe. I can't show you the picture of how she totally messed up the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace! And you thought they wouldn't move for anything!!!!

After the European hot spots, we took off for some more exotic locations like the Taj Mahal:
