Verwer (http://www.georgeverwer.com/) is with Operation Mobilization (http://www.om.org/). I have a DVD he made and wrote up a description of it here (http://wetzell.blogspot.com/2005/05/george-verwer-and-seven-global.html).

One thing I really like about George is that he was open to having his understanding of his ministry change during his lifetime. I think its important to have a humility that is open to learning from others and making some changes in how one goes about one's ministry.

I can only pray that the same may become even more true of the TWeb Administration in the days ahead.

My husband went on an OM mission to Mexico, years ago, and he said they spent one whole day praying, and time just seemed to fly. I could say more, but it is a really good 'faith' mission, and I admire them for that. (they go by faith for God to provide the funds for their missions trips, etc., and they also go by faith for funds for whatever they do, not soliciting funds). We get the Operation Mobilization newsletter, and it is interesting.

What is it that you see needs to be changed here, or are you just being vague in general?

I am being vague, inasmuch as I have expressed ideas for possible changes in the past and found the Admin less open to making institutional innovations than they are generally open to making technological innovations.

I think we as Christians are called to listen to one another, see 1 John 4:6 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=69&chapter=4&verse=6&version=49&context=verse). I believe that includes listening to suggestions for alterations in the specific manner which our ministry is done.
