Hi there.. not sure if this is ther right spot for this.. but I'm sure it will find it's home :)

I'm wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to wether Grenz was an Open Theist or not...

I just got back an essay I wrote based on Grenz hypothesis of Corporate Election.. the lecturer holds to corporate election as well, and when I pointed out Grenz's error in removing Eph 1:3-12 from eternity past completely, the lecturer made this comment:

An interesting observation, though I am sure Grenz would say the decision in the past was in the light of God's intended future

Anyone?

Grenz was not an OVT. He was some form of muddled Arminian, AFAICT.

He doesn't seem to base election on foreknowledge though... we are elect by coming to faith, and this happens in history rather than prehistory.. from what I understand?

Let's just say he is not a solid ST guy.
