• Make a list of prayer items to guide you.
• Choose a specific place to pray away from distractions.
• Pray out loud, forming intelligent sentences in a persuasive way.
• Keep a note pad handy to jot down ideas that come to mind.
• Pray short, sincere prayers, instead or laboring to construct long, cumbersome ones.
• Redeem time for prayer from unused corners of your schedule: in the car, doing housework, while exercising, during long walks.
• Pray with someone else who you meet with on a regular basis to build consistency.
• Keep a prayer journal, tracking your requests and their answers so you can thank God promptly.
