:bunny:
echo outputs more strings
strchr i think finds the first occurence of a string
substr im fuzzy but takes you to a string or to a place in a string
etc I don't know what it does.

Is echo technically a function? Like include and require and exit, it's special somehow. I don't know. Anyway, there's a lot of string functions in PHP, even if you only include the ones in the strings library; then there's the urls library and the 2 regexp libraries, and that's without looking at the doco or having all that much PHP experience ...
Seriously, there are about 80 functions in strings alone. I'll take 10 points off my geek score for that, and another 10 for non-contribution to open-source (though I will one day...), and another for never having written a Geek test, to come up with a grand total of 80.
There's no points for C (as such) on this test!

Have you ever contributed to an open source project?
I don't know what that means. I guess, no.
(/-\|\| y0|_| r34|) ||-|15?(answer no if you don't know what that says) No
Can you accurately predict what a regex will do without checking a regex checker? Well, given the situation. Like, if he asks the hottest girl in school to a dance then... but that isn't the same thing, maybe. I guess, no/
Do you know what all those buttons do on a scientific calculator? YES! Oo! I got one
Do you know the history and development of the Perl programming language? No, but my dad is the friends with the guy who first developed it. Does that count?
Can you write a random quote generator in under five minutes? I can make-up stuff in under five minutes.
Have you ever built a computer? Nope.
In 60 seconds or less, can you tell me all the string functions in PHP and what they do? No
Do you like Linux? I am not familiar with linux
Do you dislike Micro$oft? Is familiarity the same as "like?"
Have you ever written a Geek test? Well, I have taken to writing multiple choice tests about literature. Does that count?
For every yes, add ten points.
100: Congratulations! You're an Uber Geek. :thumb:
80-90: Keep practicing. You'll get there.

40-50: Better start learning computers... they're the future.
0-40: Step away from the computer...
Dang, I got a definite 10, perhaps a twenty with that last question. Can I claim those ten bonus points from Boom?
