Now I am about as knowledgeable in theology as the next Hispanic guy with a Jewish mother that eats poke and a catholic born father that is now some kind of hero-christina guru, so when I read this web page that I happened to come upon, I was not sure if it was fake: so I think I should as you people.

Yep, it's 100% satire. That is, it's fake.

Well I was hoping on having a serious discussion on how to raise kids, I was being sarcastic about the validity of that site; I thought it would make people think that all.

The supply/demand ratio of Christian and general conservative satire is horribly skewed. Yes, for the hundred millionth time, we'ver heard all of these criticisms before (in fact, if you read the old books, we criticized these practices ourselves long before they were fashionable to criticize) and we've already been "thinking" about it for some time, having direct experience and all. We might be nicer and more open in the communication of these thoughts if the siege mentality wasn't triggered by the ubiquity of prejudiced newsroom canards.

- I'm not positive that this is the case. Because... it's getting harder and harder these days to tell the difference between satire and people who actually believe.
- That someone might be fooled by Landover Baptist is evidence to this effect.

That's because comedians are lazy, lazy, lazy. Or so cut off from what's funny to their audience that they have to copy verbatim with minor alterations from people who are much more interesting than they are.
Remember-good comedy is how smart people communicate truth without getting lynched.
