I found some really cool stuff that the Ancient Greeks and Romans had as weapons, it seems that they had repeating catapults and other cool stuff, and while I couldn't find a site yet, I saw on the History Channel that they had flame throwers in Ancient Greece.

Thanks for the link, if I remember correctly Alexander the Great employed the gastraphetes so effectively against a tribe of Thracian barbarians that they fled the battle field. (Or maybe it was the oxybeles?)

No problem. I first looked up this stuff after there was a show last night on Ancient Greek and Roman weapons. They even said tha Archimedes is reported to have invented a steam cannon, along with lots of other stuff, to help in the defense of the city state of Syracuse against the Romans.

I was watching that same show! That armored turtile thing was pretty cool. The part about the siege of Masada was very interesting.

I used to build bows and crossbows when I was younger. Then I moved to Toronto and can't find any trees that are even remotely useful in the hobby. =(
