It occurs to me that it might be useful to have a thread specifically for this. So pick your winners. Remember there will be TWO out of the six.
(in alphabetical order)
Ed Babinski
Dan Barker
Ted Bell
Richard Carrier

Carrier (for sheer dogged persistance) and LGM (for comedic value).

Carrier and Brooks.... or is it Brooks and Carrier?
Almost sounds like an early 80's cop sitcom...?

My vote would be for Carrier simply because he's one of the few skeptics I've seen that gives me the impression of being very well-read, as well as being one that attempts to deal with the actual data rather than deal almost exclusively in soundbites.
Either way, I'm sure JPH (or, excuse me, Time Turkey....ha ha) will bring us plenty of comedy-relief as the series progresses.

I've not even heard of Ted Bell.
Why not Earl Doherty? He'd be a hoot.

How about "abnoxio"? That's his alter ego name.
Why not Earl Doherty? He'd be a hoot.
Maybe for Survivor II -- but I'd need to make up something. I have no idea what he looks like and he's camera-shy.

I think Acharya S should make a cameo, and it should be revealed that she has the body of a large spider. Also, the spider is wearing rollerskates!

Oh.. I am afraid Carrier is not going to last long.
Look at this screwball quote: Big Breasts disprove God!
[F]emale breasts do not need to be large, or prominent at all—as instruments for nursing, small breasts are just as effective, while large breasts create increased strain on a woman’s back and increased risk of injury and lethal malfunctions like cancer. . . . [T]hey are a liability, a needless waste of energy. . . . What possible use such an inefficient tactic would have in the eyes of an intelligent engineer is hard to fathom.
He will probably be killed or seriously injured trying to force first century Jewish women to disrobe so they will stop their 'viral superstition' :frown:

Ted Bell would be quite a surprise. I was thinking in voting on Carrier, but after hearing about the "blue monkeys flying out of my butt" argument I´ve changed my mind...
Since there is no observable divine hand in nature as a causal process, it is reasonable to conclude that there is no divine hand. After all, that there are no blue monkeys flying out my butt is sufficient reason to believe that there are no such creatures, and so it is with anything else.
I´ll vote Ted Bell and Dan Barker. =P
