Okay, it is that time again. I think, for the future, we will begin book club discussions on the first monday of every month.
So, last time, Quo Vadis and Small Gods were recommended. I would also like to add The Mother Tongue: English, and How It Got That Way, by Bill Bryson. It is a funny book, with some very interesting insight into the English language.
If you have any more suggestions, please make them.

Small Gods is very funny, and somewhat meaningful. And it does pertain to Gods, appropriately enough for a theology forum.

Might I offer a couple of suggestions?
The Ragamuffin Gospel, by Brennan Manning
Finding Darwin's God, by Kenneth Miller

Okay, no more suggestions for this thread. Bro. V, I copied your suggestions into the suggestions thread, and changed the "other" option to Raggamuffin Gospel.

We can start as soon as you want. My life is too hectic right now to make much of a contribution.
There is a tie between sould survivor and ragamuffin gospel. So, I flipped a coin, and ragamuffin gospel won out. So, DeeDee, if you want to start a thread on monday, that would be great.
I should be more active around the first of August. I have busy fitting into my new job, and now, getting into an apartment.
