May none of us become casual and ~flip~ when discussing the things of God, for His truths far exceed and transcend our human capacities, and all such conversation should be approached with awe and humility.

Especially any discussion regarding the Trinity.

The depths of wonder involved in the Godhead are way beyond human comprehension. We must be careful to be Scriptural when we refer to the Triune God, in order to approach this holy subject with reverence.

We must be careful to not dissect the Godhead with our puny and dull thinking.

For example:

Muzicman denies that Christians are the spiritual issue (offspring) of Jesus Christ, with the reasoning that Jesus is a brother and not Father God.

But this is dangerous distinction to make, and erroneous in my opinion.

It is beyond me to explain it, but I receive this truth by faith, according to God's revelation of Himself in His Word:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born into this world as a baby child.

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder . . ." Isaiah 9:6a

To continue Isaiah lists the names given by God to this Child:

"And His name will be called, "Wonderful," "Counselor," "Mighty God," Everlasting Father," "Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6b

Everlasting Father!

One of the names for the Child given to the world is "Everlasting Father."

Let that sink in for a bit.
