Dispursed throughout the body. I am a teacher as a matter of fact.

The letters of Paul

Good. Me too. You should then be interested in my thread which considers Paul's philosophy to be divine.

I doubt those entrusted with the genuine gift of miracles and healing would announce it over a microphone. And, let's not forget that apart from the will of God, those with those gifts cannot genuinely perform without God. And let's not forget that God may only heal someone through someone as many or few times as He chooses. It's not like we can go to a Church, find brother so and so, and have him do a miracle at will in front of us for confirmation.

Jesus talked about giving in secret, when He performed miracles, He would sometimes tell the person to keep it a secret. Not only is there a secret aspect, but a humble aspect as well. I don't see God working through the proud, through those choking on their own pride, I see Him working through those He has humbled, through the meek, through the weak, and bruised reeds.

(1 Corinthians 14:26-29) “So, my dear brothers, what conclusion is to be drawn? At all your meetings let everyone be ready with a psalm or a sermon or a revelation, or ready to use his gift of tongues or to give an interpretation; but it must always be for the common good, If there are people present with the gift of tongues, let only two or three, at the most, be allowed to use it, and only one at a time, and there must be someone to interpret. If there is no interpreter present, they must keep quiet in church and speak only to themselves and to God. As for prophets, let two or three of them speak, and the others attend to them.”

(Acts 2:38-39) “Peter answered ‘and everyone of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise that was made is for you and your children, and for al those who are far away, for all those whom the Lord our God will call to himself.”

(1 Corinthians 2:10-16) “These are the very things that God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit reaches the depts. Of everything, even the depths of God. After all, the depths of a man can only be known by his own spirit, not by any other man, and in the same way the depths of God can only be known by the Spirit of God. Now instead of the spirit of the world, we have received the Spirit that comes from God, to teach us to understand the gifts that he has given us. Therefore we teach, not in the way in which philosophy is taught, but in the way that the Spirit teaches us: we teach spiritual things spiritually. A spiritual man, on the other hand, is able to judge the value of everything and his own value in not to be judged by other men. As scripture says;’ Who can know the mind of the Lord, so who can teach him?’ But we are those who have the mind of Christ.”

I just did. I'm a sixty seven year non-oneness, deeply Trinitarian, Pentecostal. I know Him and He knows me.
