I wasn't sure where to put this, as its not too serious, but its also a suggestion ....
For those that haven't heard of it, Godwin's law applies to Internet discussions and states that the first person that refers to Hitler or the Nazis in a debate is automatically deemed to have lost.
So, wouldn't it be fun to have "Godwin's month" on Tweb? For a month this rule would be applied to all posts. The idea of course is to force people to use more creative examples of evil people and actions.
How to apply this? I don't think we could enforce "defeat" on a poster in any way ... I'm open to suggestions, but maybe the moderators could delete the entire text from posts with this kind of reference, with a note about the "Godwin" rule. This would force the poster to rewrite his/her arguments using a different example of evil.
Whaddaya think?
(This wouldn't apply to factual debates about Hitler or the Nazis, like "Was Hitler a Christian" of course)
