The Hulk is some sort of allegory about Li Mu Banner and Shui Lien Ross flying around, jumping through trees and deserts, and performing extraoridinarily improbable stunts. Needed more Hulk, more smashing, more speech from the Hulk himself, and maybe a little extemperaneous theorizing on where Hulk got the biomass to grow to 7, then 12, then 18 feet high from pure FURIOUSNESS. And I'm pretty sure some of those scientific items Banner's father was using didn't heppen to exist in 1966. Maybe the Military-Industrial Complex was hiding them from the general public.
Save the money for the earliest comic books, where Hulk gets to fight and win the Cold War single-handedly.
(The funny thing about all those Cold War-era comic books was that they all presumed that we had an anti-nuke missile defense system.)
I'm STILL not getting the nature of David Banner's powers...
