I have a clock that runs in shockwave, and i want to put it on a htm page so that I can use it in active desktop, as my wallpaper.
I can only create htm pages in MSWord, but it only shows the object icon, not the item itself.

Any ideas anyone?

It's the hand one, huh? :smile:

You can use this HTML:

<embed src="hand.swf">

But you'll want to specify a width and height:

<embed src="hand.swf" width=400 height=500>

Solly, did it work for you? :shy:

er no. I don't know what to do with the code you gave me. Just paste it into a htm page?
I tried downloading the web page and cutting out all the other bits I didn't want, but it would not activate flash.

btw, it's not the hand clock.

I found I can use the website for my active page, but that requires a permanent link open...

If you download the *.swf file, the code I gave you should work.

You just insert the code into notepad and save it as an .htm file in the same folder as the swf.

hurrah, it worked. Thanks Cirisme.

Now, if we can only attach swf, I could show you what I am using.

don't get too excited though. this is a nostalgia trip for me, but doesn't have much relevance outside the uk.
