I just bought some new books and they concern the matter of this particular forum so I thought i'd see if any of ya's've read em.

They are old books, I bought them at this book store called 12th street books: Scholarly Out of print Books. I love this store very much as I collect Alexander Dumas and old science books.

An Introduction to Social Anthropology by Lucy Mair
This book is old, like 1960s-70s. I bought it because I like to see how scientific thought has changed over the years.

Simulations of God: The science of belief by John C. Lily
I'm most interested in this book. I really don't know what it is about and this is what intrigues me! (so much so that I spelled it wrong!) From what I can gather it is a book about what and how people believe.

Lucy: The beginning of Mankind by Donald Johnson and Maitland Edey.
I know there have been older skeleteons found in the past 10 years or so but this was the big one. I'm interested in this book to see what scientific data has been challenged from this book and what has become commonplace in evolutionary theory.

I wish I had time to read them all! Why can't I have a cool time machine like hermione in Haryr Potter?

That would rule!

Sounds cool yog. I would be especially interested in the science of beliefe book as my degree is in Religios Studies and theories of religion was one of my favorite courses.

Also, Dumas is great. I have only read a couple of his books, but if I had the time and the money, I would read everything that he ever wrote. :thumb:
