This is mostly just a curiosity of mine, but what determines when a poster's name appears in the "users browsing this thread" bar on the bottom, versus just being identified as a member (with no name given)?

there is a setting on your profile (under General settings) where you can toggle being invisible or not(mods can still see you though)

Invisible Mode:
Invisible Mode on
Invisible Mode off
Invisible mode allows you to browse the forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists.

It was just something I'd noticed, and was curious about. I hadn't thought of an invisibility feature. That should have been obvious to me, really.
